<p><span style="color: rgb(0, 20, 30); font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">Edith L. (Hadley) Sheehan, a lifelong resident of Reading, died on November 26, 2020 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading. She was 91 years of age. Edith was born in Reading on September 13, 1929 the daughter of Leslie C. and Annie S. (Doucette) Hadley. </span></p><p><span style="color: rgb(0, 20, 30); font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">Edith grew up in Reading and attended Reading schools. She worked for a small family owned business in Reading prior to ending her career at the Atlantic Food Mart where she worked for many years. Edith married George H. Sheehan in 1950 in Reading, Massachusetts who predeceased her. They were happily married for 65 years. Edith’s family was her main focus in life. She loved family gatherings and spending time together.</span></p><p><span style="color: rgb(0, 20, 30); font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">Edith was the beloved wife of the late George H. Sheehan. Devoted mother of Maureen A. Sheehan and her late husband Joseph LaMonica of Reading and Valerie J. Mullen and her husband Richard of N. Reading. Loving grandmother of Keri-Ann Richards of Tewksbury, Melissa A. Richards of Reading, Amanda L. Mullen of Marietta, OH and Scott D. Mullen of N. Reading. Cherished sister of the late Frank R. Hadley and the late Leslie L. Hadley. Sister in-law of Claire Hadley and Lorraine Hadley both of Reading. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.</span><br></p><p><span style="color: rgb(0, 20, 30); font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"><br></span><br></p>
