Gregory Nickolas

Update Remembrance

Saugus – Mr. Gregory Nickolas, age 58, passed away on Tuesday, September 28th. He was the

beloved husband of Deborah (Alcott) Nickolas.

Born in Lynn, Mr. Nickolas was the son of the late Arthur and Joan (DeMatteo) Nickolas. Greg worked for many years for the Town of Saugus. He made such an impact on many people’s lives and would always be there for anyone.

Greg was loved by many and will be greatly missed by so many friends and family. He was taken away from us way too soon. He was so proud of his children. He especially loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren grow.

In addition to his wife, Greg was the loving father of Mason Nickolas and Jackie Nickolas and her fiancé Corey Nugent; cherished Papou of Kenzie and Corey Nugent; dear brother of Steven Nickolas and Denise Nickolas; and son-in-law of Rolin and the late Hazel (Fyfe) Alcott.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Greg’s memory may be made to The Orthodox Church of St. John the Russian, 16 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Ipswich, MA 01938.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake St., Peabody on Friday at 12:30 p.m.
